Welcome To Bainbridges

For over 30 years Bainbridges have held regular sales of antiques and general effects.

Bainbridges value at all levels using in-house and consultant valuers.

Our highest prices at auction have all come to us via probate valuations and private clearances, and include the £5,000 thimble we discovered during a valuation on the banks of Lake Como, a Ming bowl that had been used as an ashtray, sold for £100,000, a £1 million collection of Chinese ceramics in May 2012, the record-breaking £43 million Chinese vase in November 2010, and the newly discovered Gainsborough drawing which we sold for £60,000 in July 2015.
